South Korean health care solutions provider Ceragem said Wednesday it will make its debut at the upcoming CES 2024, slated for next week in Las Vegas, to strengthen global partnerships and unveil the latest version of its flagship therapeutic thermal massager.
In a 330-square-meter exhibition booth, Ceragem will present its Master V9, equipped with an upgraded massage module -- massage rollers -- as well as a reclining-back function. Besides the massager, Ceragem will also present new health care products good for spine health, blood circulation, relaxation, nutrition, exercise, mental health and beauty care, the firm added.
Taking part in the CES for the first time, Ceragem will showcase Korea’s competitive massage therapy products, while seeking opportunities to connect with global partners, the company said.
“Ceragem has led the nation’s massage equipment market based on strong customer trust,” said a Ceragem official.
“We will establish a robust relationship with our sales partners to deliver the optimal health care services to overseas customers, too.”
Founded in 1998, the Korea-based health care company played a key role in popularizing the thermal massage bed, dubbed the Master V. When a user lies down, the heated massage rollers scan the user's body shape and move along the spine, relieving muscle and joint pain.
While achieving wide recognition in over 70 countries, Ceragem set its sights on Korea in 2018 and topped the domestic market in just three years.
Last year, its sales in Korea surpassed $460 million, achieving a nine-fold increase compared to 2018.
Its flagship Master V series, in particular, reached cumulative sales of over 400,000 units as of this year, since its launch in Korea.
Ceragem attributes its success in the domestic market to its decadeslong experience and marketing strategies catered to Korean customers.
Starting in 2019, it opened nationwide demo stores called “Well Cafe,” where visitors can try out their massage products while relaxing and enjoying a cup of coffee.
